The interactive, digital museum game Mind the Gap invites groups to explore the collection of the Aargauer Kunsthaus and find humorous ways to approach the artworks. The winner is whoever finds the most popular filler words for the suggested cloze texts. The game is played in small groups of four or more people using their own smartphones.
The digital game Mind the Gap was developed as a prototype in 2024 as part of Project AMI. AMI was initiated by the Max Kohler Foundation and FableVision for and with Swiss and US museums. In 2025, Mind the Gap was developed into its final version with funding from the Max Kohler Foundation. It was implemented by Studio Freisicht and tested with two district school classes from Suhr.
Anyone interested in offering Mind the Gap at their own institution is welcome to contact friends@projectami.com (limited number of free licenses available).
