In the exhibition, the students watch a video showing a dense network of exotic plants. Here, the artist presents multiple layers of images in different shades of green. How was this work technically implemented? The classes also encounter colourful oil paintings on canvas, which turn out to be a combination of video and painted images. In the studio, the pupils select a photo motif in which they hide animals using oil pastels. From Cycle 2 onwards, the colour of the image is changed by painting over individual elements or spaces in the template with harmonious or contrasting colours. Classes from Cycle 3 onwards experiment with combining painting and a green screen app.
