In the exhibition, the classes examine various painterly approaches to abstraction – from colourful, gestural works to minimalist, monochrome pictorial concepts. Concrete art, characterised by non-representational, geometric-constructive compositions, is also represented. The students actively participate in the exploration of the works. Interactive exercises such as writing down a recipe for a concrete or abstract image encourage discussion and close observation.
