Loans

Loan requests should be addressed to the Director of the Aargauer Kunsthaus and must be received no later than six months before the start of the exhibition. Once your request has been received, you will receive confirmation from the Registry Office.

The official acceptance or rejection will be communicated in writing once the review process has been completed. Requests may be submitted in German, French, Italian or English and may also be sent digitally to this email address: nora.togni@ag.ch.

Unfortunately, applications that do not meet this deadline may not allow us to fulfil all loan requests. We will, however, carefully review your applications and thank you for your interest in our collection.

Documents to be submitted with a loan application:

• Name of the exhibition organiser
• Curator(s)
• Exhibition venue
• Title and dates of the exhibition
• Contact person for loans
• Any further venues
• Detailed information on the works, including inventory number and image
• Project description and concept
• Facility report for the exhibition venue
• Climate curves for the exhibition spaces covering the requested period of a past exhibition
