Loans
The following information is intended exclusively for museum curators and not for private individuals.
Loans
Loan requests must be addressed to the Director of the Aargauer Kunsthaus and must arrive at least 21 days before loan meetings. The decision will be made at the loan meeting and communicated in writing within 21 days of the meeting. Applications can be submitted in German, French, Italian or English.

Applications that do not meet these deadlines will automatically be discussed at the following loan meeting and the processing of your application will be delayed accordingly. This delay has no influence on the assessment of the application. Outstanding classifications, incomplete or missing documentation will also lead to a delay.
Documents to be submitted for a loan request:
- Concept of the exhibition with conclusive justification as to why the works requested for loan from the Aargauer Kunsthaus collection are required for the planned exhibition. This is a substantive justification.
- As complete a list of works as possible for the planned exhibition. Please clarify details of the works you wish to borrow from the Aargauer Kunsthaus with us in advance if you are unsure.
- Complete and signed facility report.
