Food negotiates identity, enables access, awakens memories and creates spaces for coming together. Cooking and eating workshops with the NOF4 collective, the artists and the Aargauer Kunsthaus are organised in line with these interests.

Oz Oderbolz (*1988) deals with questions of identity, transformation and social spaces in his artistic practice. His works often operate at the interface between public and intimate, between the private and the collective.

In this workshop, we will pickle together: we will pickle vegetables that we have brought along, saved and found. Pickling is understood as a form of preserving collective memory – as a queer gesture of recycling, care and transformation.

The aim is to fill as many preserving jars as possible with pickles before the finissage with the performance Mi casa, su casa on Friday, 22 August at 5 pm. The jars will be an integral part of the performance.

Please bring along: Vegetables or other preserving material. All participants will receive free admission to the finissage.
