A collaboration with Bricks and Sounds
Concert starts at 1 pm
Three musicians from Aargau, who usually perform in renowned Swiss bands, have come together again as a trio: Arriba brings together piano, bass and drums – compact, direct, and with a sound honed through playing together. At the heart of their repertoire lies the Great American Songbook – the timeless jazz standards that the trio re-explores with visible enthusiasm and a keen sense of improvisation. Alongside these, the trio ventures into pop and rock classics, giving them a completely new twist and thus creating unexpected connections.
One concert is never like another: the three musicians trust in the moment, engage with one another and improvise with creative courage – resulting in a unique musical experience every single time.
With Mathieu Friz (keys), Nicholas Struchen (drums) and Marius Meier (bass)
