Collection 26
Art from Switzerland
Free admission, with aperitif

Form and colour form the starting point for the current Collection 26 presentation. The focus is on works from the 1970s to the present day, including numerous new additions from recent years. On the upper floor, visitors can discover works by Joseph Egan, Marcia Hafif and Verena Loewensberg, among others. In the basement, forms in sculptures, drawings and installations interact with works by Silvia Bächli, Eric Hattan, Herbert Distel, Barbara Müller, Roman Signer and many other artists.
Over the years, the Kunsthaus has collected a number of important works by Mario Sala (born 1965). The work of this trained graphic artist, who lives and works in Winterthur, spans the fields of painting, drawing, objects and sculpture and is also present in public spaces. The Collection in Focus exhibition centres on the multi-part work Wild Bunch, which was acquired in 2023.
