TicketsThe discussion series addresses the changing significance of neutrality in the context of global politics and brings together expertise from the worlds of art, politics and science. Each event highlights a specific topic related to neutrality.
The first event is dedicated to the relationship between neutrality and prosperity, whereby Switzerland is often accused of benefiting from the conflicts of the great powers, while moral and ethical principles take a back seat. Switzerland’s role in the art and gold trade during National Socialism and with apartheid South Africa will be discussed, as well as current issues relating to arms exports. Experts such as Mascha Madörin, Lea Haller, Rami Msallam and Denise Bertschi are expected to take part. The discussion will be moderated by Marco Schnurrenberger.
