Sand falls into your eyes. It tingles.
Your eyes close, then open again.
Now you can see them. You can hear them too.
For the exhibition, Klodin Erb has designed a series of costumes that will be brought to life on various occasions in a new choreography by artist and performer Sophie Germanier (*1996, Zurich) with Lan Perces, Jessica Tamsin Allemann and Dustin Kenel, expanding the visual world of the exhibition.
In her work, Sophie Germanier explores the historical ban on dancing in Switzerland, questioning which dances have been lost and which stories we can tell today. Together with Lan Perces, Jessica Tamsin Allemann and Dustin Kenel, she dreams of past dances of the costumes and lets the resulting performative gestures wander through the exhibition.
