How does a ballet take shape before it comes to life on stage? Filipe Portugal, choreographer, artistic director of Tanz und Kunst Königsfelden and former first soloist of Ballett Zürich, and members of his high-calibre Carmen ensemble provide a unique insight into the rehearsals for the new production of Carmen as a ballet.

The elaborate production is being created for the Carmen Festival 2025 by Tanz und Kunst Königsfelden, which will transform the historic Königsfelden monastery church into a fascinating space for encounters with dance, music and artistic interventions from 23 May to 21 June 2025.
