The exhibition season for the second half of the year begins right after the summer holidays. New designs are created and exhibitions planned in the region’s art studios. This includes the Auswahl, the selection process for which artists can apply to the Aargauer Kuratorium every year. Based on the submissions for this exhibition, the Kuratorium awards grants and subsidies to artists with close ties to the canton of Aargau. The Auswahl showcases around fifty works on two floors of the Aargauer Kunsthaus, giving visitors a unique insight into art from the region.
