At the end of the year the Aargauer Kunsthaus and the Aargauer Kuratorium present their Auswahl 10. This traditional annual exhibition of Aargau artists offers a survey of the wide range of current art practices in the Canton of Aargau.

The annual exhibition provides an opportunity for local artists to present their work. Any artist living in or coming from the Canton of Aargau can apply to be included in the exhibition. Each year in October a jury made up of experts convenes to judge the submitted works. This year, a total of 206 artists have submitted their files. 57 artists, some of them working collaboratively, were invited by the jury to present their works in the annual Auswahl 10 exhibition.

At the exhibition opening on 3 December 2010, the Aargauer Kuratorium will award its grants for work in the visual arts. At the same time the Neue Aargauer Bank will present its annual advancement award to a young artist.
