The subject of this year’s second installment of our series of exhibitions of young art, Markus Uhr presents photographs, collages and drawings from the last two years.

Markus Uhr carries the compact camera with him at all times. The artist does not search his motifs, he finds them. He photographs his own everyday life and, in his “found images,” records objects and situations that he happens upon. These photographs at the same time serve as materials for his collages in which he combines images from print media or old art publications.
