The Aargauer Kunsthaus continues this year’s exhibition series with a presentation devoted to David Berweger (b. 1982). This Basel-based artist is showing a group of wall and floor pieces he developed especially for the exhibition in Aarau. Guided by a sure feeling for materials and technically accomplished, he creates works from plain and sometimes ephemeral substances whose unusual quality tends to bemuse viewers and challenge them to take a closer look.
