A popular success, Flowers to Art shifts its focus to contemporary art in 2016. Right on time for spring awakening, Swiss master florists and young talents interpret selected works from the collection, thereby allowing for a surprising dialogue.

In artists’ talks, master florists and artists get a chance to speak and carry this dialogue further. The interior courtyard is turned into a workshop for a master florist and his students, thus allowing the public to witness up close the creation of a large floral composition. The programme also includes several guided tours a day with master florists and art historians as well as workshops for families.

Flowers to Art is a joint project of FLOWERS TO ARTS and the Aargauer Kunsthaus. The FLOWERS TO ARTS association aims to highlight the connection between floristry and art through cultural events.
