Flowers to Arts
Floral interpretations of works from the collection
In the exhibition Flowers to Art, outstanding Swiss master florists and young talents are invited to interpret works of art with their floral creations. Selected works from the collection of the Aargauer Kunsthaus as well as entire groups of works from the special exhibition Stowaways will be presented.
The week-long exhibition, which is being held exclusively at our museum for the fifth time, extends from the upper floor to the spacious rooms on the ground floor. A varied accompanying programme provides an insight into the reciprocal relationship between flowers and art.
Artists and florists meet in dialogue events and explain the interactions between the two disciplines. Workshops and guided tours with florists and art historians enable an exciting deepening of the dialogue between flowers and art. The flower bistro on the roof of the building invites visitors to take a break and savour the delights of spring.
