Manon, the Swiss pioneer of artistic staging and role-playing, will offer a preview of her most recent project titled Hotel Dolores, presenting a first selection from this photographic work which currently comprises 170 images. The abandoned and, in some cases, condemned structures in the spa district of the Aargau spa town of Baden provide the setting for her mise-en-scène. In these atmospheric spaces Manon uses the camera to trace the fleetingness of our existence, staging and creating ambiguous images.
