Exciting new designs and works are constantly emerging from the region’s art studios. The Auswahl showcases this rich local artistic output. Every year, artists from the canton can apply to the Aargau Curatorial Board and the Aargauer Kunsthaus for an opportunity to participate.

Based on the submissions for this exhibition, grants are also awarded to artists with close ties to the canton of Aargau. The Auswahl features around fifty works across two floors of the Aargauer Kunsthaus, giving visitors comprehensive insight into the art of the region.
