Exciting new ideas and works are constantly emerging from the region’s art studios. The Auswahl showcases the richness of local artistic creation. Each year, artists from the canton can apply to the Aargauer Kuratorium and the Aargau Kunsthaus to participate.

Based on the submissions for this exhibition, grants are also awarded to artists with close ties to the canton of Aargau. The Auswahl features around fifty works across two floors of the Aargauer Kunsthaus, giving visitors comprehensive insight into the art of the region.
