The exhibition tour focuses on the colourful flower paintings. The classes look at and compare how Giacometti meticulously arranged the flowers in vases or glasses with cloths laid out in the background. Armed with a viewfinder and pencil, the pupils select an exciting detail and describe it in their own words.

In the studio, the pupils work in groups to put together flower arrangements from various fabric flowers, vases and cloths. The flowers are then sketched and painted with gouache colours.
