In the exhibition, the classes look at how thickly applied oil paint glows on large paintings and how patches of colour are joined together like a mosaic. What effect do the abstract or representational colour compositions have? The artist comes to life via the arthouse’s own augmented reality app and tells the class more about his working methods. Pupils will use interactive exercises to explore the colour frieze and colour composition.

In the studio, the pupils experiment with palette knife on canvas and create imaginative colour impressions. The class paintings will remain in the public open space until the end of the exhibition, forming a polyphonic work of art.
